Hey there! I was going through some messages to clean them out and found this one, and realized I had replied, but to the wrong message! I see you haven't been on DA for a pretty long time, so I'm not sure if it even matters, but hopefully you get this, because it was nice talking to you while you were on here, you really seemed to listen. If you don't get it, at least I tried :) . Anyway, here's the original reply to yours:

Yeah, sometimes parents can be that way, especially when their own sons or daughters are involved. I love both my parents to death, but it can be aggravating how closed-off they can be. I try to remember that sometimes it takes a little push to open up, so I try to show them new things when they come to visit (I'll never forget the look on my mom's face when she tried sushi :) ), but when they go back home it's almost like they forget everything. Really though, I couldn't ask for a better mom or dad, and I'm always happy when they come to see me. Same with my brother, but he's all the way out in California, so that's harder. I'm going to see him next week, can't wait! I love it out there! :relax:

Honestly, when it comes to starting up a good website, the hosting really isn't the hard or expensive part. The hard and expensive part is the development. A lot of companies charge anywhere from $75 to $150 per HOUR to build one, and it usually takes over 10 hours to make anything worthwhile. That's why a lot of people learn HTML, or get their friends to do it.

I wouldn't be afraid to say anything to you, as long as you aren't either. I love seeing new things and learning too, and I think that's why I have so many #*$& hobbies! Any time you want to talk about yours, I'm interested :) .

to be honest, they are select, designed by emg, when i get some money i might get some 81's on it.it still sounds pretty sweet.

Ahh, very nice. Are those active or passive EMGs? Last month I replaced my passives with an EMG 81 and 85 (the Zakk Wylde setup), the next stop is ordering an ESP LTD KH-602, if I could just find the money... :)

Anyway, awesome guitar!

You are correct, it is a replica of my b.c. rich, N J series, pimped with new electonics and emg pickups, that is what the headstock looks like, it just says B.C. Rich on the real headstock. a very..very nice guitar.

You're welcome, great gallery!

By the way, the guitar on your profile page; I've been trying to figure out what it is. I thought it was a BC Rich, but the headstock looks different. What exactly is it?

Honestly I don't have much work to post, and what I do post isn't very good anyway, so I move pretty slowly. I don't think anyone is really waiting for it either :) . I suppose I should use watches and friends on here, though, that'd be way easier than going through everyone's profiles and looking for new work. Just call me a slow learner  I will have more work to put on here; I'm planning on using some of the photos from my trip next week. The photos I have posted are from the same trip last year, badly photoshopped.

That was pretty negative, wasn't it? You can tell I don't highly regard myself as an artist, but I thought it didn't seem fair to be freely viewing and using other people's work without offering at least a little of my own. Now if only I could post some guitar work... :headbang:
